FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What happens after you
place an order?
An inspector will call you to set up the appointment. Next, the inspector
will test drive the vehicle and check it from top to bottom. A written
inspection report along with the supporting photos will be made available
online or by email within 24-36 hours after your call. The inspector
will call you within one to two hours after completing the inspection.
2. What does the
Report include? See
details
3. Is it important to
have a vehicle inspected by an ASE Certified Technician? Yes, very
definitely! The small cost of an inspection by a trained auto technician can
spot problem areas that most individuals overlook! Especially with the
newer vehicles which can have as many as 6 computers on board. We check to
insure the system is operating properly. Electronics are a major part of
modern vehicle repairs and can be very costly. An inspection can give you
"bargaining" power and leverage when it comes to negotiating the final
price. So an inspection is a small price to pay to avoid a large repair
bills in the future.
4. What if my new
vehicle comes with a warranty? Do I still need an inspection? Have
peace of mind! You never really know what you are getting into until the
inspection is finalized. Even if your car has a warranty, this is no
guarantee that there are no existing problems. There are many car dealers
that have no intention of selling you a defective car, but with modern
technology, even experienced car dealers can overlook some details, through
no fault of their own. Many warranties and warranty company's are sometimes
vague in their coverage. Each policy is different. It is always best when
you don't have to use the warranty! This is where the Inspection benefits
you the most - PREVENTION!
5. Will the
inspection guarantee my car will have no defects? No. What the
inspection will do is notify you of areas of concern. We give you a
detailed REPORT to notify you of the general condition of the vehicle and
allow you to make an informed decision concerning your purchase. We have
always maintained that if you buy a used vehicle, be prepared to spend $500
in repairs upon purchase. If the vehicle doesn't need the repairs, then you
are already ahead of the game. Most vehicles 2 or more years old need some
kind of maintenance or repair. This is not to say that they are not good
vehicles. But they may require maintenance such as: brakes; oil change,
belts, hoses etc. and can include larger more costly repairs. The
inspection keeps you informed and saves a lot of heartache and time on your
part, if the vehicle is not what was expected!
